If left unchecked, our body responds to the dysfunction by setting us up with compensatory mechanisms and lazy movement patterns which culminate in a domino effect that typically makes the original condition worse.
By using remedial massage techniques such as focused trigger point therapy, myofascial release, active and passive stretching, and deep tissue massage, the therapist is able to encourage the release of muscle tightness, improve blood flow and tissue healing for reduced scar tissue and correct muscle function.
